It is a local market place where you can see unique street foods. You can have a look at Kyoto-brand vegetables, souvenirs, fresh seafood, and more.

After lunch preparation, the guide takes you to the temple having a nice garden.  If you are interested in the Zazen meditation class, we can arrange a private meditation class taught by monks.

  • Have lunch break in a traditional restaurant

  • Visit a local sweet shop to make Japanese sweets

We will move to a traditional sweet shop established more than 100 years ago. You can make traditional sweets at the shops.

  • Visit Geisha street

We will visit a remote Geisha street. This neighborhood is the oldest Geisha district in Kyoto. The guide will also show hidden streets which you can not easily visit by yourselves.
