It is a local market place where you can see unique street foods. You can have a look at Kyoto-brand vegetables, souvenirs, fresh seafood, and more.

It is a very popular activity. The foodie guide shows how to prepare the meals and you can prepare lunch.

Visit a local temple
After lunch preparation, the guide takes you to the temple having a nice garden. If you are interested in the Zazen meditation class, we can arrange a private meditation class taught by monks.

Have lunch break in a traditional restaurant

Visit a local sweet shop to make Japanese sweets
We will move to a traditional sweet shop established more than 100 years ago. You can make traditional sweets at the shops.

Visit Geisha street
We will visit a remote Geisha street. This neighborhood is the oldest Geisha district in Kyoto. The guide will also show hidden streets which you can not easily visit by yourselves.

Our tour finishes at an impressive Unesco shrine, famous among students who wish to achieve academic success. This is the best place to find souvenirs.
