KOTOBUKI 寿 or 壽 means congratulation in Japanese.

This Ukiyoe was originally made by a local artist in the Edo period (circa 17e century) wishing to save kids eyes and ease the pain from small pox. (The round eyes of owl and horse represent the wish for saving eyes
