Service Description

For over 1,000 years in the late 19th century, Kyoto was known as the birthplace of numerous traditional Japanese arts that had been handed down by local people for centuries.  In Kyoto, you can always find old-styled Japanese art, which is difficult to find in other cities. At the end of the tour, you can re-discover Japanese art sense by watching, touching, and creating.  Here are examples of our activities: - Calligraphy workshop        - Ikebana workshop - Private visit to a Noh Theater - Visit a pottery workshop - Visit of antiques shop - Visit of art galleries We also arranged opportunities to interview local experts and craftsmen during this tour. That could be a nice opportunity to talk with local people if you have any questions. Let's discover the exquisite and subtle beauty of Japan! *Some activities may require extra fees. In this case, we will add them to your tour price. ** Private transport for more than 3 persons can be arranged with extra fees. This exclusive tour includes the following : - Private and personalized guided tour with a knowledgeable and relaxed guide. - The guide's transportation fees. - The guide's admission fee (if any, up to 2000 yen) - Taxi fees to discover the selected area(s). Please note that the guide lunch fee is not included.

Cancellation Policy

Guide's Cancellation Policy: In case the Traveler wishes to cancel the Tour Agreement, the policy below will apply to the cancellation. After deducting the appropriate charges from the price paid, Miyako From Japan will refund the remaining amount within 10 days from the date of the cancellation. - It depends on each credit card company when the refund will be reflected on the statement. Cancellation Policy: In the event that a customer requests to cancel their reservation, a cancellation fee of 25% of the total service fee will be charged, regardless of the reason for the cancellation. If the customer has already made a 100% advance payment, they will receive a refund of 75% of the total amount. In the event that a customer cancels their tour at least 30 days beforehand, according to the tour's time zone, they will receive a refund of 75% of the total amount. . In the event that a customer cancels their tour between 29 to 15 days beforehand, according to the tour's time zone, they are entitled to receive a 50% refund of the tour price. However, no refund will be made available if a customer cancels their tour within 14 days beforehand, according to the tour's time zone, or if they do not show up for their scheduled tour. This policy aims to ensure that our resources are utilized efficiently and that we can continue to provide our customers with high-quality experiences. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding this matter. Any cancellation must be initiated by e-mail contacting us at contact@miyakojapan.com, and will also be acknowledged by miyakojapan.com via e-mail. Cancellation notifications by phone will not be accepted.
