KYOTO - Calligraphy & Private Tour

Service Description

This is a one-day tour (6.5 hours) combined with a 90 minutes calligraphy experience to discover Kyoto with a friendly, knowledgeable & relaxed guide. We will answer all your questions about the city, Japan, and lifestyle. During the calligraphy session, we will also provide a relaxing and quiet time to focus on the best-looking strokes. My workshop is at a cozy traditional Japanese-style townhouse called “Kyoto-machiya.” This machiya is over 100 years old, but the inside is renovated to stay comfortable. The owner of machiya is from the Matcha tea district in Kyoto. At the end of the lesson, we will drink a bowl of matcha served by the owner. It is a very comfortable place to do calligraphy and enjoy a bowl of Matcha together! Regarding the tour: 1. We will meet you at your hotel lobby or any desired location in the city. 2. Do not hesitate to tell us if there is any specific place you want to visit with us. 3. Please tell us how many people will join the tour. >> We also provide kids-friendly tours for family groups. 4. Please tell us if you have any allergies or diet restrictions. This price includes the following: - The guide's transportation fees - The guide's admission fee (if any, up to 2000 yen) - 90 mins calligraphy session in a traditional machiya ***(up to 2 participants - 4000 yen per additional guests) Please note that the lunch fee is not included.

Cancellation Policy

Guide's Cancellation Policy: In case the Traveler wishes to cancel the Tour Agreement, the policy below will apply to the cancellation. After deducting the appropriate charges from the price paid, Miyako From Japan will refund the remaining amount within 10 days from the date of the cancellation. - It depends on each credit card company when the refund will be reflected on the statement. Cancellation Policy: In the event that a customer requests to cancel their reservation, a cancellation fee of 25% of the total service fee will be charged, regardless of the reason for the cancellation. If the customer has already made a 100% advance payment, they will receive a refund of 75% of the total amount. In the event that a customer cancels their tour at least 30 days beforehand, according to the tour's time zone, they will receive a refund of 75% of the total amount. . In the event that a customer cancels their tour between 29 to 15 days beforehand, according to the tour's time zone, they are entitled to receive a 50% refund of the tour price. However, no refund will be made available if a customer cancels their tour within 14 days beforehand, according to the tour's time zone, or if they do not show up for their scheduled tour. This policy aims to ensure that our resources are utilized efficiently and that we can continue to provide our customers with high-quality experiences. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding this matter. Any cancellation must be initiated by e-mail contacting us at contact@miyakojapan.com, and will also be acknowledged by miyakojapan.com via e-mail. Cancellation notifications by phone will not be accepted.
